Pawfection K9 – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the agreement between Pawfection K9 (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the client (“you”, “your”). By booking any service, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Pawfection K9 provides dog training, behaviour support, walking services, puppy visits, and related canine services.

We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services if a dog presents a risk to itself, other animals, staff, or the public.


2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your dog, including health, behavioural issues, and any risks.

  • Ensure your dog is up to date on vaccinations, flea/worm treatments (unless otherwise agreed).

  • Keep your dog’s microchip details correct and legally compliant.

  • Ensure your dog is wearing an ID tag where required by law.

  • Provide appropriate equipment (e.g., harness, leads) as requested for training or walking.

You accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by your dog to property, people, or other animals.


3. Behaviour & Safety

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our priority. To manage risk:

  • Dogs displaying aggression or reactivity must be declared in advance.

  • Muzzles may be required for certain dogs; we will discuss this openly and professionally.

  • We reserve the right to end a session or service immediately if safety is compromised.

  • Dogs must not be ill, injured, or contagious when attending a session or walk.

Failure to disclose behavioural concerns may result in termination of services.


4. Training Sessions & Classes

4.1 Owner participation

Training success relies heavily on your commitment. You agree to:

  • Follow training guidance during and between sessions

  • Practice exercises consistently

  • Use only force-free and humane methods during our programme

4.2 Children in sessions

Children are welcome under supervision, but their safety remains your responsibility.

4.3 Outdoor sessions

Training may take place in public areas. You remain responsible for your dog at all times.


5. Dog Walking Services (if applicable)

  • Dogs will be walked on lead unless otherwise agreed and safe.

  • Group walks (if offered) will only include dogs assessed as suitable for group settings.

  • Walk duration includes collection, drop-off, and travel time.

  • In hot weather, walks may be shortened or replaced with enrichment/indoor activities for safety.


6. Health & Veterinary Care

6.1 Emergencies

In the event of illness or injury, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. If you cannot be reached, you authorise us to seek veterinary care on your behalf.

You are responsible for all associated costs.

6.2 Medication

We can administer medication only as instructed by you. We accept no liability for adverse reactions.


7. Payments & Cancellations

7.1 Payment

  • Payment must be made in advance or as otherwise agreed.

  • Packages, blocks, or programmes may have additional terms stated at the time of purchase.

7.2 Cancellations & rescheduling

To provide fair service:

  • 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

  • No-shows will be charged as completed sessions.

7.3 Refunds

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Completed sessions, digital materials, and programmes already commenced are generally non-refundable.


8. Weather & Environmental Conditions

For the safety of dogs and staff:

  • Sessions may be adapted, moved, or cancelled in extreme weather (heat, storms, snow, ice).

  • If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you will be offered rescheduling or a credit.


9. Photos, Videos & Marketing

We may take photos or videos during sessions for monitoring progress or educational use.
We will only use images for marketing or social media with your explicit consent.
You may withdraw consent at any time.


10. Liability

Pawfection K9 is fully insured; however:

  • You remain legally responsible for your dog at all times.

  • We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by your dog, except where required by law.

  • We are not responsible for items lost, damaged, or destroyed by your dog.

  • Training outcomes cannot be guaranteed — results depend on your dog’s temperament, environment, and your ongoing commitment.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.


11. Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal information in accordance with the UK GDPR.
Our full Privacy Policy is available at your request or on our website.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version will apply to all future bookings.
